Our album Laocoön arrived, two decades after recording, having lain patiently as a serpent’s egg. Available at Bandcamp and soon to be here in this web-shop, its eco-digipak carries a Lyric booklet and CD of 10 songs: art pop exploring themes of intimacy, identity and integration, through Graeco-Roman myth. Propulsive fusions uncoil dreamrock, mystery pop, ethereal dance, space-ambient folk, gothic trip-hop and trance. Free of plastic, the disc awaits you in a sleek sleeve like the crescent moon of a distant hemisphere … or another galaxy! Over the next days I’ll be presenting it in detail at this site. Co-songwriters, producers, performers and other artists involved will also be featured, as credited on the CD.
By invitation, I did an interview with American podcaster Danielle Richardson at Lament of Hope, which explores diversity with empathy. We talked about myths, grief, pantheism, books, trauma and other topics, finishing with my lullaby for a beloved cat.
